The municipality of Luumäki decided to remove the boom of the boat dock that had worked well, fortunately, the new, locked pier in Sahanranta was available and we bought a place there too. Of course, the price went up, but for peace of mind we were happy to pay.
Everything was fine again with the pier and the island was as it was before. Although there had been visitors, because the rag rug on the porch had been good, perhaps, for a moose to clean his teeth. It certainly wouldn't have been food. Greetings had been left on the pier on the northeast shore.
