This year the ice melted super early and we got to the island on April 20 for the first time this early. Everything was in order, although some trees had gone down in the storms in the fall/winter/spring. And the small solar panel had once again charged the batteries full. And just as we were departing, the loon couple came to say hello, though they did keep the distance.
