Summertime 2001

The first summer has been absolutely wonderful. From mid-July to the end of August, the weather has been kind to us and we have been on the island the whole time, except for a few nights spent in the city.

Since the island only has electricity from a generator, TV viewing has been limited to a few programs a week, and more so than that, we've been watching the sauna and swimming in the lake.

Our cats Nöpö (old maid, 4 kg, light/striped) and Mikke (old boy, 7 kg, dark/striped) have always been purely indoor cats, but now they have been able to live freely in the wild.
