Jari's Farewell Party at AITCV
AITCV staff and students honored Jari's work by organizing their own graduation party in the AITCV ballad hall
on November 28, 2000.
The party was warmed up with a Vietnamese-English ballad for Jari, followed by a staff commentary on Jari's
working methods in the office. It included cell phone habits, moving in the corridors, quality thinking
assessments and, as a culmination, reciting in the AITCV Quality Policy Choir.
The tight program was followed by additional performances and perhaps the most touching moment was when the
staff and students circulated a small candle around the circle. Everyone got the opportunity to recite their own
wish for the candle and all the wishes came together along the way. Jari was the last to add his own and by
blowing out the flame, he united all the wishes with each other.
